"Free Career Makeover" or "Career Makeover" or "Career Makeover Contest" prize refers one (1) prize that includes the following gift certificate(s) and gift card(s):

No entries by email will be accepted. Entry constitutes your acceptance of these Official Rules.

1. Contest is open to all qualified persons 18 years or older except the following:

    a. Employees Southeast Writing Company, and partner companies; household members, siblings, and parents of said Southeast Writing Company employees

    b. Employees of all prize sponsor companies, and their immediate family members

No purchase necessary. Making a purchase will not increase your chance of winning.

2. One entry per person. One prize may be won per household address, name, and or family using the same household address or name, per contest, whether the prize be in cash, services, or merchandise. All entries become the property of Southeast Writing Company upon receipt and will not be returned.

As a condition of entering this contest, entrant agrees that: (1) Entrant waives all rights to claim any damages, including punitive, incidental and consequential damages and attorneys' fees. (2) Southeast Writing Company shall have no liability and shall be held harmless by entrant and/or winner for any damage, loss or liability to person or property, due in whole or part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance or use of a prize or participation in this Career Makeover Contest.

3. Persons who have previously won a prize of either cash, services, or merchandise from Southeast Writing Company are subject to the following restrictions: Persons who have won a prize valued up to $100 in the last 30 days are not eligible to win. Persons who have won a prize valued between $101 and $499 in the last 90 days are not eligible to win.  Persons who have won a prize valued between $500 and $999 in the last 6 months are not eligible to win. Persons who have won a prize valued at $1,000 or more in the last 12 months are not eligible to win. These restrictions also apply to immediate household members of contest or prize winners.

Entry forms and postcards will be placed in a container. An entry form or postcard will be drawn from the container on Wednesday January 9, 2009. One (1) prize will be awarded.

4. Southeast Writing Company is not responsible for any tax liability associated with winning this contest and will be required to submit their social security number for tax reporting for values over $600.  Winner may be required to sign an eligibility release form and give Southeast Writing Company and its prize sponsors permission to use their name, photo and/or voice for promotional purposes without further compensation. By accepting prize, winner releases Southeast Writing Company and all participating sponsors from any liability as a result of this prize. Southeast Writing Company reserves the right to substitute prizes of similar or greater value. Southeast Writing Company shall not be responsible to replace cancelled prizes to vendors and the sponsors may not not issue replacement tickets. Southeast Writing Company shall not be responsible for any Product Liability issues. Winner(s) must address Product issues with the manufacturer or service provider of the prize.

5. Southeast Writing Company and/or prize sponsors (which includes its affiliates and each of their agents, officers, employees, licensees and all parties associated with this contest) is not responsible for lost, destroyed, delayed, incomplete, illegible or misdirected materials.

7. Southeast Writing Company is the sole administrator of this Career Makeover Contest. All decisions by Southeast Writing Company are final and legally binding.

8. Prizes will not be awarded until winner has been verified for eligibility through Southeast Writing Company. Verification may take up to 3 weeks. Prizes must be claimed in a timely manner. Prizes not picked up within 30 days will be considered abandoned. Some prizes may expire. Southeast Writing Company will not be required to replace expired items.

9. Prizes are non-transferable and will be awarded to the winner only, based on eligibility.

10. Picture ID is required in order to claim a prize.

11. Prize will not be mailed. Winner must pick up prize in person and sign proof of receipt, release, and contest rules (by scheduled appointment only) at 273 Azalea Road, Suite 2-300, Mobile, AL 36609.

12. Winner must be a legal resident of Alabama, Mississippi, or Florida.

13. Contest rules may be modified by Southeast Writing Company at any time.
